I have taught learning disabled students for the past 11 years, sometimes in small groups, other times, one-on-one. Each student was able to work at their own pace and allowed the time to learn the skills needed to keep up with their peers in the regular education classroom.
Speech/Language Implementer
I worked side-by-side with an Speech/Language Pathologist for 4 years to create and teach lessons to improve student's ability to create appropriate sounds in oral speech and use vocabulary and language processes to speak fluently in order for them to be understood by others.
BD/ED teacher
I have worked with BD/ED students for the past 11 years. I have has students of all levels from needing support for sensory breaks to students that have been hospitalized for their disability. Each student is unique and need their own curriculum/pace to succeed.
